Mr. Akrumah said last year more than two hundred (200) pints of blood were donated at Osu Donewell Insurance head office.

‘’This year the turn-out was also very good and we were able to collect one hundred and forty-four (144) pints at the blood donation at AMA centre. Jennifer Bebli Marketing Manager of Donewell Insurance Company Ltd. said her organisation is proud to be part of the exercise.

‘’It is a privilege to be part of this exercise because in addition to saving lives, the exercise is a contribution to the achievement of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) 4 & 5 as the blood collected would be beneficial to women in labour who may need blood and thereby help in reducing child and maternal mortality’’ Jennifer Bebli said.
