Global Media Alliance Restructures Its Operations and Makes New Appointments

Accra, 24th January, 2013:  In a strategic move to further consolidate the remarkable growth of the company within the last few years, CIMG Media organization of the year, Global Media Alliance has made a number of key senior managerial appointments.

Mr. Ernest Boateng, formerly the Managing Director in charge of Finance and Administration is now the Managing Director for the Global Media Alliance Group, overseeing the various subsidiaries including the Global Media Alliance Broadcasting companies, Megascreen, Starfish, and the Events, Public Relations and Creatives divisions.

Mr. Elvis Omane-Agyei former Head of Operations, is now the Director of Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Platforms, responsible for executing quality broadcasting on all the broadcasting platforms, including etv, YFM Accra and Takoradi, Happy fm, and Anigye fm. Mr. Ebo Gyebi, Mr. Eric Twum, and Emmanuel Akrummah are the newly appointed General Managers of Etv, Yfm Accra and Takoradi, and Happy FM/Anigye FM, respectively. 

Mr. Edwin Amankwah, who previously served as the head of Events has been promoted to Director of Global Media Alliance overseeing the Events, Public Relations and Creatives Division. Mrs. Rosemond Aryeetey is the head of Corporate communications for the Global Media Alliance group responsible for visibility of the internal brands, while Mr. Kojo Williams now takes over from Mrs. Aryeetey as Head of Public relations, with a focused responsibility for managing external clients.

Mr. Daniel Delong now assumes the Head of events, having been promoted from an Events executive.  Mr. Albert Mensah, Director of Special Projects and Silverbird Entertainment Ghana Limited will be responsible for ensuring the expansion of Silverbird Cinemas in the Greater Accra region and other regions in Ghana. 

Ms. Emma Wenani and Mr. Austin Ampim have also been promoted to Directors of Human Resources and Finance respectively.
